Rose Bay, a prestigious waterside suburb of Sydney in the Eastern Suburbs, is just 7 kilometres east of the CBD. Properties in this suburbs range from waterfront mansions to 1950’s apartment blocks. Just 22% of dwellings are freestanding houses in Rose Bay, making large landholdings rare. Rose Bay’s location reflects its name with easy water access and views of the city. With that come two of the most prestigious private girls schools in the area – Kincoppal and Kambala. Sporting interests are looked after well in Rose Bay. Apart from water activities which abound, there are two golf clubs, Royal Sydney Golf Club – a championship course of 27 holes for members only and Woollahra Golf Club which is open to the public.

Apart from he highest sale so far in 2018 at 19 Bayview Hill Road for around $40M to a local family, every significant Rose Bay purchase has been made by Asian or Ex-pat interests.
