Pillinger End of Year Report
We have come to the end of the year and to the close of what started as a fairly uncertain year for the real estate market due to Australian political and economical uncertainty. Fortunately the top end of the Sydney property market remained fairly unscathed, however there was less stock available and things were a little slow to get off the ground. The second half of the year has seen a surge of activity and some very positive gains. Everyone seemed to be making up for lost time as the last quarter has provided some extraordinary results including sales in Darling Point, Vaucluse, Rushcutters Bay, several Darlinghurst and Woollahra apartments, and Potts Point terraces. Now at a time when historically things would be slowing down for the Summer, it’s still full steam ahead with five very active opens last weekend, all of which we are confident in selling before Christmas Day.
In terms of our company achievements for the year, we are excited to have featured in the Top 10 sales by price in Australia for the 24th year in a row. As well as this, Brad Pillinger will be going into his 25th year based at Double Bay, a big milestone which he attests to his broad clientele and unwavering drive.
This year we have also seen our sales team grow. The whole team have been superb and are an incredible asset to the business. A short period of rejuvenation between Christmas and New Year will see us ready to scale new heights in 2020.
We wish all our clients, purchasers, friends, staff, suppliers, competitors, members and parents of the under 15 Marlins cricket team, and all their extended families, safety and happiness over Christmas and New Year and a fresh vision for what can be achieved in 2020 and beyond.
We’re looking forward to seeing what this year’s festive season brings. With sales across the full spectrum at optimal levels the balance of the financial year and 2020 remains an exciting prospect.
